Colosseum (or Coliseum), also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre is located in the centre of the city of Rome just east to the famous Roman Forum. Coliseum was built around 70-72 AD by Emperor Vespasian of the Flavian dynasty as a gift to the Roman people. After centuries of active use, most of the original Colosseum has been destroyed over the period, the remains are the popular tourist destination and iconic symbol of the Rome.

The corridors and stairs were designed in such a way that it allows swift entry and exit to thousands of spectators and to keep the different classes of spectators separated.
