France

France is a country in Europe bordering Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and parts of England. France has Mediterranean Sea in the south while a long Atlantic Ocean Coastline in the west. France is the most popular tourist destination in the world due to its large count of tourist destination. A large chunk of France GDP comes from travel and tourism industry. France has 37 sites listed in UNESCO`s World Heritage list.

Some of the major tourist attraction in France: Palace of Versailles, Eiffel Tower, Mont Saint Michel, Nimes Arena, Carcassonne, Pont du Gard, Grotte de Font de Gaume, Loire Castle, D Day Beaches, French Riviera, Louvre Museum. Other attractions of France are their beaches and seaside resorts.

Some major attractions of France     

Palace of Versailles: Palace of Versailles is located 20 km away from the capital, is the grand reminder of the French ancient history. Palace of Versailles is also included in UNESCO`s World Heritage list. The Palace is now being converted into a museum and houses marvelous furniture’s, arts and antique.


Eiffel Tower: Eiffel Tower, one of the world`s most known structure is an iron Lattice tower located in Paris, France. Eiffel Tower was originally built as an entrance arch for the World`s Fair in 1889 to celebrate 100th year anniversary of the French revolution. Eiffel tower is about 320 meters and more than 10000 tonnes of iron are used to build the structure. Now Eiffel Tower continues to serve an important role in television and radio broadcasting.






Mont Saint Michel: It is a monastery and small town off the coast of Normandy, built on a tiny outcrop of rock, which is cut off by hide tide from the mainland. Mont Saint Michel is a must visit place in France. 



Loire Valley: Loire Valley is the garden of France, a historic town famous for its attractive landscape, marvelous royal castle and fro great French food & wines. This world heritage site is significant for the quality of its architectural legacy. 

French Riviera: Is in the south eastern part of the France, known for its Mediterranean weather. French Riviera has plenty of upper class seaside resorts, yachts and golf courses. It is also famous for Cannes Film Festival, the Juan Jazz Festival, the Carnival and for the Monaco Grand Prix.

Transportation: Riverboat, Bus, Taxi, Railways, Domestic Airlines. 

Food: Beef Bowels, Beef Bone Marrow, Oursins, Andouillettes, Snail, Frog`s leg and Cheese are some of the important French foods.

Climate: Climate varies in different parts of France. Most of the territories have moderate winter and mild summer in contrast to mild winter and hot summer along with the Mediterranean and south west, and very cold winters and hot summer along the German border. Cold winters with plenty of snowfall in Alps, Pyrenees and Auvergne.
